Juanita D. Farmer is the principal of J. D. Farmer & Associates, LLC, a public accounting firm, located in Germantown, Maryland.
Ms. Farmer has been practicing in the field of accounting and tax for over 25 years. After years of working in larger accounting firms, she decided to open her own practice to better serve her clients’ needs. As Managing Partner of J.D. Farmer & Associates, LLC, her goal is to provide clients with the highest level of technical expertise with a personalized service. Her experience includes a broad range of industries emphasizing software development companies, technology companies, and non-profits.

Juanita received her educational training from Oakwood University, Huntsville, Alabama and the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland. She holds a Certified Public Accounting license from the State of Maryland and is an active member of the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA), Association of Practicing CPAs (APCPA), the Maryland Society of Accountants (MSA) and the National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP). Ms Farmer also served as an officer in the position of Treasurer and Executive Board Member for the Board of Trustees of the Association of Practicing CPAs (APCPA) as well as the Treasurer for the Pine Forge Academy Foundation. Presently, she serves as the Founder of Believers in Business Living in Excellence (B.I.B.L.E.) a nonprofit organization to help business owners to pursue Kingdom based business.
Ms. Farmer is a member of the Maryland Association of CPAs (MACPA) where she severed as the leading instructor providing hands-on and academic expertise for Accounting Software for Continuing Professional Education. She also served on the MACPA Local Practitioner’s Committee as an editor and writer on “Going Solo,” the instructional manual for CPAs starting their own practices. She is a presenter and speaker for various seminars.
